Ney Coto Pinzon is a 20th century Panamanian painter whose post-impressionist and surrealist works are reminiscent of the Old Masters. They posses an otherworldly aura reflecting the influences of Munch, Chagall and Van Gogh, and in some cases Picasso.

In 1986 he was offered a UNESCO exhibit in Paris but did not have the money to travel.

He was also a poet, a guerilla fighter against the Torrijos dictatorship and a well-know anti-Noriega journalist in the days of that dictatorship

He lives in Panama City, Panama and no longer paints. He is now in his 90s
